We never know what to expect with Adelyn. She has always been our independent child and loves to test her limits. The bruises on her body are a testament to her "no fear" attitude. This past weekedn, she fell while at the pediatricians office and had a bump above her left eye. On Saturday, she fell at Rick & Marsha's house and got a bump above her right eye. On Sunday, she fell at church and ended up with a pretty large bruise below her right eye going down to her cheek. It wouldn't be Adelyn if she didn't have a bruise somewhere on her face.
Her independence has now moved to dinner time. She no longer will sit in her high chair or booster seat. She wants to sit in the "big girl" chair like her sister. Meals have become quite messy because she must feed herself. It doesn't bother me too much, but the mess makes her daddy crazy.
