I WROTE THIS RIGHT AFTER FATHER'S DAY, BUT NEVER PUBLISHED IT. I DIDN'T HAVE THE HEART TO DELETE IT.
It has been almost a month since I last updated the blog. Sorry that it has taken so long. We've had a lot going on in our house. Grandma Sherry came to visit. Grandfather came to visit. Scott turned 30. Abigail went to Vacation Bible School. We went to the lake for Father's Day. The neighborhood pool opened. Abigail started a new round of gymnastics. Adelyn started her first gymnastics class. We went to the Children's Museum with friends. And lots of other activities. Needless to say we've been pretty busy.
For Father's Day we went to Scott's favorite place, the lake. The girls enjoyed playing in the lake and hanging out with their cousin Madelyn. Adelyn looked hilarious when she tried to float using both her life jacket and tube. She'd get tipped over and couldn't move. We were terrible parents because we kept taking pictures rather than helping her.
